County Commissioners Adopt State Emergency Declaration After Severe Weather Over Past Month

Wednesday, June 12 the Nemaha County Commissioners adopted a resolution accepting a recent state emergency declaration.

It allows the county to seek emergency funding following thunderstorms, heavy rain and flooding starting Thursday, May 16 continuing into June. The extreme weather has been causing a hardship on maintaining roads, disrupting transportation while endangering the health and safety of county residents.
