Climatological Autumn Was Slightly Warmer, Precipitation Little Above Normal in Area

The climatological autumn (September through November) averaged 1.8 degrees above normal. The warmest reading of the fall was 97 degrees on September 15th, one of 10 days of 90 degree weather, or double the normal number record. The minimum was 11 degrees on November 11th, one of 28 subfreezing minimums, while the normal is 23.
