Brownville Riverfront Revitalization Awarded $53,000 CDBG Financing

Brownville has been selected to receive a $53,000 planning grant under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

The funding is going towards a riverfront revitalization plan, notes Denni Mitchell. Mitchell is community development specialist with Southeast Nebraska Development District (SENDD), which prepared the grant application.

The financing breakdown is as follows:

–$50,000 for planning activities provided by grant money.
