BPW Produced Power to Avoid Rolling Blackouts

AUBURN BPW was one of the few utilities in Nebraska not having an interruption of service because of the extreme cold weather experienced in parts of the United States during the week of Feb. 15. Unit 7, which is pictured, can produce about 5 Megawatts of electricity per hour. When combined with Unit 4, the two can generate about 8.1 to 8.2 MW per hour. Read the complete article on Page 2.
