Auburn Development Council Hires Bill Hunter of Peru As Consultant

Bill Hunter of Peru has been hired by the Auburn Development Council (ADC) as a contracted consultant to help with economic development efforts. Hunter and his wife Iris moved to an acreage in Nemaha County last June. They have six children and a dozen grandchildren.

Hunter’s career began in economic development-related positions and his most recent full-time employment was for a company in which he wrote, installed, and supported HL7 interfaces (programs) to communicate with hospital information systems and CareFusion’s pharmacy, surgical and materials management equipment in Iowa and Nebraska.
