APS Board of Education Learns of Plans for Nov. 15-16 External Visitation

The Auburn Public Schools (APS) external visitation is scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 15 and 16. Nancy Fuller, APS director of school improvement and curriculum, reported on plans to the APS Board of Education Monday, Oct. 9. The meeting was at the Center For Achievement and Transitional Services at Peru State College.
Rule 10 of the Nebraska Department of Education requires one external visitation every five years. The visitation team consists of educators from other educational agencies possessing expertise in the continuous improvement process and/or goal areas. Fuller said APS has two goal areas. Mathematics is the student performance goal. Behavior is the learning opportunity goal.
