RON BERGMANN
Ronald Wayne Bergmann, surrounded by family, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at his home in rural Auburn, Nebraska. Ron was born in Auburn on September 2, 1949, one of two children of Julius Harold and Grace Nadene (Lang) Bergmann.
Growing up on the family farm, Ron attended school in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School. He then attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering.
Ron spent most of his working life in the agriculture industry. He farmed for a time and worked for many years at the John Deere Implement Dealership near Auburn, where he took pride in helping the farming community and made many lasting friendships. Later in life, he worked at the NAPA auto parts store in Auburn, extending his network of friends and acquaintances.
On November 24, 1994, Ron was united in marriage to Lisa Rando in Friona, Texas. The couple would eventually move to rural Auburn to make their home.
Ron was an active member of the Auburn Berean Church and served on the Nemaha Volunteer Fire Department. He loved to mow and keep his yard looking neat. Ron enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles with Lisa and fishing with his grandkids. He was a wonderful woodworker and extended that talent to building an intricate train set with models of actual places in his world.
