ROBERT “BOB” WREDT
Robert Allen Wredt, known fondly as Bob, passed away at his home in Auburn, Nebraska, on June 7, 2026. Born on August 23, 1969, in Nebraska City, Nebraska, Bob lived a full and dedicated life.
He was the son of William Allgood and Gwen Fisher and was adopted by Charlie Wredt. Bob proudly graduated from Auburn High School in 1989. He served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Throughout his working years, he was employed in various roles including as a factory worker at Cargill, store manager at Cenex, and custodian for Auburn Public Schools.
Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing, activities that connected him with nature and brought him joy. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, creating lasting memories that those close to him will cherish.
He leaves behind his wife Julie (Knowles) Wredt, to whom he was married on October 29, 1990. Together, they raised a loving family including his sons Wesley (Randee) Wredt, Tyler (Danielle) Wredt and Dalton (Peyton) Shearer, daughter Danyea Wredt (Chris), as well as grandchildren Kynzie and Kynnedi Garst, Lincoln Wredt, Kegan Wredt, Maggie and Samson Main, Ayla Smith, Sage Wredt, and Tuff Shearer.
Bob is also survived by his parents, Gwen and Charlie Wredt; his brothers Scott (Rhonda) Wredt, Tony (Pam) Wredt, and Andrew Wredt; and his sisters Deb (Isaac) Nelson, Becky (Tim) Stewart, Amanda (Jeremiah) Tomlin, Joannah Wredt, and Sarah (Nathan) Harms.
He was preceded in death by his father William, grandparents Lawrence and Vena Fisher, Marion and Vesta Wredt; his uncles Ron Fisher, Rich Allgood, and Jerry Wredt; and his aunts Laurena Sayer and Betty Osborne.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation with family on June 12, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn.
Robert Allen Wredt will be remembered for his commitment, kindness, and the love he shared with those around him. His legacy continues through the family and friends whose lives he touched deeply.
