GARY HOWARD WARNICK

1943 - 2025

Gary Howard Warnick, 82, formerly of Table Rock, Nebraska was born on July 26, 1943, in San Diego, California to George and Grace Warnick. He attended school in Allerton, Iowa and graduated from Allerton High of creating the building design for the new Bettendorf Middle School Music Division.

During his teaching career he was selected to the “Who’s School with the class of 1962.

Gary continued his education later in life attending business classes at Peru State College.

On June 29, 1963, Gary was united in marriage to Darlene Kolacny at the Christian Church in Chariton, Iowa. To this union two daughters, Mary and Brenda, were born. The couple raised their family in Table Rock. Gary enjoyed spending his time working around the house and outside in his garden.

He loved gardening, especially raising tomatoes. Gary and four months and thirteen days. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Edwin Warnick.

Gary is survived by his daughters: Mary Comstock and husband Mike of Auburn, NE; Brenda Greaves of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren: Kerri Wilson and husband Joel of Auburn, NE; Brent Comstock of Lincoln, NE; Penny Barrentine of Macon, GA; Amber Duda of Statenville, GA; Jessica Duda of Council Bluffs, IA; Amanda Dilks and husband James of Lincoln, NE; Katherine Ramsey and husband John of Lincoln, NE; Aaron Jantzen of Lincoln, NE; Angel Nelsen of Lincoln, NE; numerous great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Yvonne Grable of Syracuse, NE; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the United Methodist Church in Table Rock, Nebraska with Pastor Lori Stevens officiating. Interment will immediately follow services at the Table Rock Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the United Methodist Church in Table Rock, Nebraska with family greeting friends from 2-4 p.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Table Rock United Methodist Church or Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Auburn.
