JANET EILEEN PASCO HAHN

Janet Eileen Pasco Hahn, the youngest child of G. Howard and Leona Wolfe Pasco, was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on June 30, 1939. She spent her childhood with her parents on the family farm near Auburn and was baptized at Bethel Community Church in rural Auburn. Janet attended rural school in Nemaha County and graduated from Auburn High School.
On January 27, 1957, Janet married Larry G. Hahn at Martin Luther Lutheran Church and was later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Johnson, Nebraska. Janet and Larry were blessed with three children: Dustan, Michael, and Kimberly.
While raising her family, she pursued higher education, attending several colleges in various states, and built a career outside the home—retiring from the Federal Government after 30 years of service as an Internal Revenue Agent.
After retirement, she and Larry returned to Nebraska and took up farming before moving to Texas, where they continued raising and showing horses. They later retired again and moved to Oklahoma, then to Tampa, Florida.
Janet and Larry shared a love of travel with their children, and together they enjoyed water sports and flying their private planes.
Janet passed away on August 11, 2025 at the age of 86. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, G. Howard Jr., and her brother, Royce Eugene.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Larry of Tampa, Florida; sons Dustan (Jackie) of Tampa, Florida, and Michael (Jan) of Granville, Illinois; daughter Kimberly (Richard Mayberry) of Azle, Texas; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Kenton Hahn of Whidbey Island, Washington; and many other relatives and friends.
