June Marie Taylor, daughter of Edwin and Della (Hardenburger) Bippes, was born June 5, 1933, in Falls City, Nebraska. As a young girl, June and her family moved to Stella, Nebraska, where June was baptized and confirmed in the Stella Christian Church. June graduated from Stella High School, participating in volleyball and cheerleading while in high school.

On June 6, 1953, June was united in marriage to Eugene Taylor. The couple would be blessed with three daughters: Kathie, Penny, and Dee, and two sons: Thomas and Gene.

June was first employed at the telephone office in Auburn; she then worked at Danny Dare Sewing Factory. June then began babysitting at home until all the kids were through school. After her children had all graduated high school, June worked for a number of years in the high school cafeteria in Auburn and then Good Samaritan Society in the kitchen and laundry department.

June was a member of the Auburn Christian Church, she and Gene were in a bowling league, and June enjoyed attending ceramic classes. She loved gardening, sewing and knitting, and was an avid reader. What June loved the most was spending time with her grandchildren and family.

On Sunday, July 13, 2025, June passed away at her home in Auburn having reached the age of 92 years, 1 month, and 8 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, Sr., infant son Thomas, daughter Kathie, grandson Jason Cash, great-grandson Jordan Cash, brothers Edwin “Bud” Bippes and Gerald Bippes, sisters Dorothy Jane Coatney and Lorraine Schuler.

Those left to mourn her passing include her son and daughter- in-law Gene and Kathy Taylor of Auburn; daughters and son-in-law Penny and Mike Petrone of Cooper City, FL, Dee Taylor of Auburn; grandchildren Kelly (Darren) Gunter, Justin Cash, Heather Taylor, Ashlee (Mike) Mulroney, Kala (Jake) Stevens, Alex (Amber) Cooney, Hope Joseph, Tristan (Marissa) Petrone, Riley Petrone; great-grandchildren Caitlyn, Jacob, Krissy, Nicole, Logan, Jasmine, Jada, Miya, Livia, Halle, Kyson, Baylor, Asiah, Amari, Chloe, Caden, Lainey, Maleah; great-great-grandchildren Theodore, Amilya, Malley, Ezriel; sister Huldah Lunzmann of Auburn; sisters-in-law Beverly Bippes of Norfolk, LoRayne Taylor of Julesburg, CO; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service, officiated by Chaplain Mark Borchardt, was held Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Casket bearers were Heather Taylor, Hope Joseph, Ashlee Mulroney, Riley Petrone, Asiah Taylor, and Kala Stevens. Alex Cooney, Tristan Petrone, Jacob Cash, Amari Davis, and Logan Cash. The burial was in Sheridan Cemetery.

Services were entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home of Auburn.
