2025 Holiday Lighting Contest Winners
The lights have been judged and the cheer is shining bright! The winners of the annual Nemaha Valley Observer Holiday Lighting Contest have been announced.
First place goes to Billy and Crystal Kaster of Sterling, whose display dazzled judges and passersby alike. Second place honors were awarded to Bill Thomas of Auburn, with Larry and Cindy Byfield of Auburn earning third place. An honorable mention goes to Stacy and John Hayes of Auburn.
The Observer is delighted to continue this beloved holiday tradition and extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone in the communities we serve who nominated neighbors—and themselves—to help light up the season.
