Newcomers on County Municipalities and School Boards From 2024 Election

Nemaha County Clerk Diane Johnson noted there was a 77 percent elector turnout in the 2024 general election. That included 966 early voters. The county had 4,465 registered voters.

One incumbent each on a village board and school board lost their bids for new terms.

Cities: Johnny Curttright will join the Auburn City Council in Ward 3. Katy Propst-Novak is the new mayor of Peru. Josh Whisler was elected to the Peru City Council via write-ins.
