Johnson County Central's Boys Cross Country team placed third at the Falls City Invitational on Thursday, September 24th. The JCC boys cross country runners had two medalists in this meet as well.
Ashton Huskey medaled in second place with a time of 18:00. Jon DeFreece medaled in 12th place with a time of 19:47.
Johnson County Central's other boys cross country runners placed as follows: Juan Aguilar, 17th with a time of 20:13; Harrison Bacon, 18th at 20:14; Jonas Lassen, 20th at 21:03; Tim Johns-Hinrichsen, 21st at 21:03; Matthew Cruz, 29th at 22:02; Kael Fricke, 35th at 22:11; Memphis Pingel, 39th at 22:50; Chase Harrifeld, 42nd at 25:16; Elliott Werner, 46th at 27:40; Aaryn Kaster, 47th at 27:42; James Francis, 49th at 35:43.
In the girls cross country race, JCC's Natalya Kirkendall placed 16th with a time of 26:16. Edith Blomstedt placed 33rd with a time of 33:21.
