Johnson-Brock trailed Thayer Central 20-16 late in the first quarter when quarterback Wyatt Fulton went out for the game with an injury. Sophomore Coy Behrends took over for Fulton, leading the Eagles downfield and finishing the drive with a 20-yard touchdown pass to Justin Meyer, giving Johnson-Brock the lead, which they would hold through the remainder of the game, ultimately moving to 6-0 with a 49-26 home victory over Thayer Central.

Without one of their major offensive contributors, the Eagles tallied 291 rushing yards and 146 passing yards against the Titans, leading to six scores. Behrends threw for over a 100 and three touchdowns and added 56 more yards on the ground. Junior Oliver Everett carried the ball 20 times for a total of 126 yards and a single touchdown.

The Eagles added one more touchdown before halftime, taking a 30-26 lead into the third quarter. They would score once in the third and twice in the fourth quarter to stay undefeated on the season with the win over Thayer Central.
