Thunderbirds Come up Short Against Trojans
The JCC football team dropped to 1-5 last night, falling to Tri County by a score of 2826. The Thunderbirds trailed by eight points after three quarters and had an opportunity to tie the game after scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but failed to score the two-point conversion necessary to extend the game.
Quarterback Regan Campbell Theis was 14-for-18 passing with one touchdown, with his top target being Trey Lubben who tallied 72 yards on six catches. Cooper Jones was the team’s top rusher with 57 yards on 12 carries.
