Prado and Trew Crowned Johnson County Central's 2026 Homecoming King & Queen
“Viva Las Vegas” was this year's Homecoming theme at Johnson County Central Schools where Erik Prado and Haylee Trew were crowned Homecoming King and Queen on Friday night, September 18 in a coronation ceremony following the Thunderbirds' football game against the Conestoga Cougars.
Queen Haylee Trew is the daughter of Terry and Christa Trew of Tecumseh. She participates in golf and wrestling dedicating much of her high school career to wrestling. Haylee qualified for the Nebraska state wrestling tournament all three years of high school. She earned state runner-up honors her sophomore year and currently holds the state title in the 100-pound weight class for girls wrestling. Last year Haylee was recognized for reaching 100 career pins. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, spending time with friends and reading. Haylee is currently employed at the El Mariachi restaurant in Tecumseh and is working toward attaining her CNA license.
