Auburn City Council member Johnny Curttright and Amanda Powell are each facing two felony counts of falsely swearing to a circulator’s affidavit, the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office announced Sept. 15.
The Class IV felony carries a maximum penalty in Nebraska of two years in prison, 12 months of post-release supervision, a $10,000 fine, or a combination of those penalties.
