Pastor Woolf is Minister of Three Area Churches: Grace, Hope and Faith Lutheran

Pastor Kate Woolf began serving three Lutheran Churches as of September 1. She decided to serve the Grace Lutheran Church at Cook and the Hope Lutheran Church at Burr in addition to serving Faith Lutheran Church at Talmage, where she has been for the past seven years.

Pastor Woolf is a native of Wichita, Kansas and has served various churches over 11 years. “My faith was important to me in a challenging point in my life. I wanted to help other people find God in their challenging moments as well,” said Woolf.

Kate graduated from East High in Wichita. She then attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she received a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science. She later attended Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. After that, Woolf served one year in Germany at Augustana Hochschule in Neciendetteslav, Germany in Bavaria. She also completed an internship at Calvary Lutheran Church in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her first call as a pastor was at the Frieden Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
