There were 29 Johnson County 4-H’ers who brought home 54 ribbons from the 157th Nebraska State Fair. The exposition concluded Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7 in Grand Island.
Breakdown is as follows: eight purple, 33 blue, 11 red, one special award and one special recognition. Harper Beck Blue: Citizenship and Civic Education, Heritage, Level I, Beginning, 4-H History Scrapbook.
Quinn Beck Blue: Consumer and Family Science, Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) Clothing, Beyond The Needle, Embellished Garment with Original Design.
