Exposing everyone to birds, wildlife and the planet we all care about is the most important aspect in the world, Michael Forsberg related Thursday night, Sept. 3 at Peru State College (PSC).
The photographer, conservationist and author shared his connections with the natural world to Southeast Nebraskans. Forsberg was sponsored by college officials and the PSC Foundation.
His first slide shown was a crane etched on a wall at Bears Ears National Monument in southeastern Utah created 1,500 years ago. Forsberg indicated cranes are one of the oldest surviving bird species on Earth and have been on the plant since before humans.
