The Johnson-Brock Eagles opened the season with a convincing 59–20 win over Lourdes Central Catholic in Friday night’s home opener.
Johnson-Brock’s offense scored eight touchdowns, including five on the ground and three through the air. Ben Parriott and Oliver Everett led the rushing attack, combining for 277 yards on 35 carries.
Quarterback Wyatt Fulton completed 15 of 22 passes. His leading receivers were Deacon Bernadt and Justin Meyer, who caught five passes each and combined for 153 of the Eagles’ 228 receiving yards.
The Johnson-Brock defense held Lourdes to 249 total yards. The Eagles jumped to a 24–6 lead after the first quarter and scored in each quarter on their way to a 39-point season-opening victory.
