Sterling’s volleyball team struggled to score points against Diller-Odell in their first game of the season on Thursday, August 27 on the road.
The Lady Jets scored nine points in the first two sets and 11 in the third set, while surrendering the match in straight sets to the Griffins.
Kynli Portwood led Sterling with four kills, followed by Isabella Lempka with three kills. Alex Vollman had a team-high six digs.
