Knipe with Nemaha County Hospital Honored with Caring Kind Award

Emily Knipe, a Patient Accounts Representative at Nemaha County Hospital, has been named the hospital’s recipient of the Nebraska Hospital Association’s (NHA) Caring Kind Award.
Knipe will be honored at the Caring Kind Awards Luncheon in October.
For more than 40 years, Nebraska hospitals have used the event to recognize their top employees. 
Each of NHA’s member hospitals selects one employee from within its own institution to represent it at the luncheon. Recipients are chosen for going above and beyond in their roles, demonstrating compassion for patients, cooperation with co-workers and dedication to excellence in their job responsibilities.
Knipe was one of five Nemaha County Hospital employees nominated for the honor and voted on by hospital staff. The others were Emily Hillman, Unit Coordinator; Billie Bentley, Outpatient Registration Representative; Jason Roush, Director of Facilities; and Jose Parra, Unit Coordinator.
