The Nemaha Valley Chapter of Pheasants Forever held their 27th banquet on Saturday evening August 15 in Johnson. The was facility was full when the evening’s events got under way. Attendees had several ways to donate to the chapters cause with silent auction items, general raffle items, card games and the live auction throughout the evening.
Those who registered for the event were treated to a delicious prime rib dinner before the live auction began. Young ladies volunteered to display the auction items. The above photo shows them displaying auction item #18 which was the 2026-2027 print of the year entitled “The Departure” by Ryan Kirby.
Monies raised by the chapter fund the annual youth mentor hunt held in late fall every year in Nemaha County, equipment and seed used for plant food plots in the region as well as other outdoor related programs in the region.
