The Auburn Board of Public Works (BPW) was informed Wednesday, Aug. 12 on the implementation procedure of after hours dispatching services.
General Manager Ray Luhring indicated information has been gathered and sent to Outifi of Springfield, Utah, who was approved as the contractor last month. A kickoff meeting was Thursday, Aug. 13. The general manager continued it will take 90 to 120 days to fully activate.
Uniform Contract A five-year uniform services contract with Jackson Services was accepted. It will be $30 less than the previous pact. The utility has had two previous twoyear arrangements. Luhring noted the company does a great job and “we’re happy with them.”
