Vicki (Hall) Beilke of Stella recently received the Jennie award for her commitment to community service. She was presented the honor at the General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC) International Convention in June in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The GFWC Jennie Award honors one clubwoman from each of the eight regions for outstanding commitment to club, community and family. They are chosen by their clubs to compete at state, region and national levels for the Federation’s highest honor.
Beilke represented the Mississippi River Valley region. She has been a member of the GFWC/National Federation of Women’s Club for 52 years following in the footsteps of her mother, Nadine. Beilke has been the president of the Stella Research Club for 25 years, is in her third term as the District 1 President in Nebraska and has chaired statewide club committees.
