The Auburn Seniors held Tecumseh/Johnson scoreless in all but one of the seven innings played Friday night, resulting in a 5-2 win for the First National Bank of Johnson Seniors. The win was one of three that Auburn earned last week, while Friday’s game was Tecumseh/Johnson’s only outing of the week.
Gavin Bauer and Westyn Amthor each recorded first inning RBI against Tecumseh/ Johnson on Friday to give Auburn a 3-0 lead entering the second inning. Tecumseh/ Johnson cut the lead down to just one run after a two-RBI double from AJ Rautenbach.
Bauer drove in a second run on the day with an RBI double in the bottom of the fifth and Clayton Brown would score on an error to bring Auburn’s lead back up to three runs with one inning to play.
