The Julian Preservation Committee invites everyone to attend a barbecue and ceremony lauding the refurbished post office building Saturday, July 18.
The festivities get underway at 11 a.m. with the dedication of the post office building followed with the barbecue that will conclude at 3 p.m. The committee will commemorate preserving the rich history of the northern Nemaha County village. It was once the largest primarily French immigrant community in Southeast Nebraska.
You will be able to admire the work that’s been completed on the 1930s post office building and the 1928 gas station.
