Friday, June 5, Taxi Driver will return to Legion Memorial Park in Auburn to open the 2025 Summer Sounds Concerts. The performance will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
It is a Best of Omaha cover quintet playing all hits, genres and decades including Motown, classic and modern rock, country, popular, dance and current hits. It has also played the Brownville Concert Series and the Johnson Father’s Day chicken barbecue. The group has opened for performers including Tim McGraw, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sawyer Brown and The Monkees.
The ensemble is Michelle Irions, co-manager and lead vocals; Al Irions, co-manager and keyboards; Mike Turner, guitar and vocals; Joe Gonzales, bass and vocals and Alex Rivas, drums.
