During 2026, the Johnson-Brock Eagles golfers have competed in seven varsity and five junior varsity meets. Comprising the team: freshmen Coy Behrends and Tyson Lunzmann; sophomore Dierks Caspers; juniors Justin Meyer and Tate Hawley; and seniors Grady Behrends, Hayden Gravatt, Brody Koehler and Gage Rasmussen.
In each meet, the team placed fourth or better along with always having an individual placer. Results are as follows with medalists.
Auburn Invitational: second, 330. Koehler 86, ninth; and Rasmussen and Grady Behrends 79, third and fourth, respectively.
Friend Invitational: fourth, 370. Hawley 89, 12th and Koehler 92, tied 15th.
Humboldt/Table Rock-Steinauer Invitational: second, 344. Koehler 82, sixth and Rasmussen 84, ninth.
Falls City junior varsity Invitational, nine holes: third. Coy Behrends 45, second and Meyer 50, eighth.
Lincoln Lutheran Invitational: fourth, 346. Grady Behrends, 83, 12th.
Elmwood-Murdock Invitational: second, 319. Rasmussen 78, third; Hawley 79, fourth; and Grady Behrends and Koehler 81, 10th. In the junior varsity division Meyer 80, first.
Johnson County Central Invitational: second, 323. Grady Behrends 79, fourth; Rasmussen 80, sixth; Koehler 80, eighth; Hawley 84, 11th and Gravatt 91, 15th. Coy Behrends shot 43 over nine holes to win the junior varsity division.
The Eagles will compete in districts at Hidden Valley Golf Club in Lincoln Tuesday, May 19 to qualify for the Class C State Golf Meet.
