Each year the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by representatives of their schools. It is based on their individual academic excellence, leadership and significant contributions made to their NSAA activity.
Students in grades nine through 12 who are nominated and meet the criteria below will be recognized and awarded a certificate of achievement by both organizations.
The following leadership and scholarship guidelines shall apply:
1. Varsity player or organizational leader who has played a significant role on the team or in the activity during the seasons for which nominations are accepted.
2. Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average in all curricular subjects, of 93 percent or 3.7 on a four-point scale or the equivalent.
3. NSAA high schools or their cooperative sponsorship may nominate up to two students per activity.
More than 100,000 students have achieved the distinction since the program’s inception in 2006.
