Johnson County Central's Girls and Boys Track & Field Teams had awesome performances at the MUDECAS Track Invitational held at Tri County on Saturday The girls earned the 2026 MUDECAS Track & Field Runner-Up title out of 16 teams with 98.5 points. The boys placed third out of 16 teams with 53.5 points.
Molly Weber broke the MUDECAS Girls Long Jump record with a jump of 18’ 0”. The record was set in 1979 by Julie Vollerston of Palmyra at 17’ 10.5”. Molly’s jump also sets a new JCC record overtaking her 2025 jump of 17’ 5.5”.
In addition, at 25.51, Molly broke JCC's school 200 meter record of 25.60 that she set in 2025!
