SCOPE Exit Planning with Auburn Chamber May 13

The Auburn Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the nonprofit SCOPE Institute and Warner Financial, are offering local business owners an opportunity to learn about transitioning, selling or exiting their businesses successfully. The free event is set for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13 at ESU4 in Auburn.
"Planning for the next stages in your business, whether that is one year or 20 years away, can make transitioning your business easier," said Leslie Clark of the Auburn Chamber.
According to SCOPE, many business owners struggle with the process and start too late. Attendees will learn how to increase a business's value ahead of a future sale, strategies to implement, how to build a team, how to understand business valuation and what potential buyers look for. The event will also include a film screening and live panel discussion.
Richard Warner of Warner Financial notes, “This isn’t just about selling your business but the process of creating value so owners can exit with a premium. They will leave with a high level over view of the process.”
The workshop is free and open to all. Seats can be reserved at www.2026event.com/nemaha or by calling 800-687-9261.

Red Carpet Service Event on April 27
The Chamber with Grow Auburn and Rural Prosperity Nebraska of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln is also hosting a customer service workshop aimed at giving staff tools to provide top-tier service. While geared toward hospitality and tourism, organizers say the material applies broadly to all customer-facing roles.
"We want Auburn to grow and prosper, and the best way to do that is to be a welcoming community," Clark said.
The event runs from 5:30-8 p.m. on Monday, April 27 and is free to attend. To register, contact Leslie Clark at [email protected].
