Darnell, Rowell Claim Multiple Events at Plattsmouth Track Meet

All gold medals in the girls hurdles events and boys throwing events went to Auburn as Seniors Addie Darnell and Logan Rowell topped the field in multiple events on Tuesday. Darnell ran a time of 14.50 in the 100 meter hurdles and 44.02 in the 300 meter hurdles to win both of those events and lead Auburn to a fourth place finish at Plattsmouth.

Jaidyn Glathar finished second in the high jump, clearing 5-05.00. Adding bronze finishes to Auburn’s team score were Kollins Wehenkel in the pole vault and Liston Crotty in the 800 meter run. The girl’s 1600 meter relay team finished second as well.

Logan Rowell led Auburn to a 5th place finish, winning both throwing events with a throws of 51-05.00 in the shot put and 155-04 in the discus. Hunter Henry was one spot out of winning the boys pole vault, finishing second with a vault of 11-02.00. The boys 400 meter relay team also finished third.
