Good Samaritan Society Home Care of Southeast Nebraska has been named to the Ever Forward 2026 Hall of Excellence, a distinction recognizing top-performing agencies across the organization.
Ever Forward is a framework designed to guide employees in their work and interactions. The phrase was coined by Good Samaritan’s founder, Rev. August Hoeger, reflecting his faith, optimism and forward-looking mindset.
The Auburn agency earned the recognition this spring. To be considered, agencies must demonstrate high performance in mission-driven areas such as employee retention, engagement, caseload management, financial stewardship and clinical quality standards.
In a release, Good Samaritan Home Health described the Auburn team as “a shining example of the kind of care we strive to provide for all of our clients.”
Jessica Gerdes was also recognized as Home Health Administrator of the Year through the organization’s Ever Forward framework in early March.
Gerdes noted that the Auburn-based team includes 11 staff members, supported by additional therapists and centralized staff. The agency serves eight counties in the region, reachingclients as far as Beatrice.
On average, the agency maintains a caseload of about 75 clients, with care plans tailored to individual needs.
The team will be formally honored in April.
