Fed-Ex Delivery Truck Struck by Train
ON FRIDAY, APRIL 10 around 12:15p.m., the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department received a call that a train had struck a Fed-Ex delivery vehicle. The collision occurred at the Union Pacific east-west crossing on 733 A Rd., around two miles west of Highway 75. The northbound Union Pacific train impacted the rear of the Fed-Ex vehicle, pushing it off the road to the northwest. The truck then caught fire, though the driver, Gunnar Hadley of Lincoln, was fortunate to get out with very minor injuries.
