Senior Johnson-Brock Student-Athletes Continuing Careers on the Next Level
Eight Johnson-Brock seniors signed letters of intent to attend various colleges to play their preferred sports on Tuesday, March 17. The signees are, from left in the front row, Charlotte Metschke, signing to Morningside University for track and field, Ruby Gravatt, signing to Hastings College for track and field, Aubree Gritchfield, signing to Midland University for cheer, and Rylie Beethe, signing to Concordia University for softball. In the back row are Brody Koehler, signing to Morningside University for basketball, Gage Rasmussen, signing to Morningside University for golf, Hayden Gravatt, signing to Concordia University for football, and Robert Gravatt, also signing to Concordia University for football.

Eagles Advancing to College Sports Have Earned All-Conference, All-State Recognition
Unless noted, All-State honors are from both the Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star. 2025-2026 All-State basketball teams have not been announced.
Charlotte Metschke: three-time state track and field qualifier placed eighth in the triple jump in 2025.
Brody Koehler: played on the Eagle boys basketball teams which won three consecutive D-1 state championships. Was named first team Pioneer Conference in 2024, 2025 and 2026; Class D-1 All-Tournament Team in 2024 and 2025; 2024 All-State second team and 2025 All-State first team.
Morningside men’s basketball team was Great Plains Athletic Conference 2025-2026 champion, finishing 22-8 overall and 18-2 in the conference. The Mustangs qualified for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national tournament but lost in the first round.
Hayden Gravatt: All-Pioneer Conference honorable mention offense in 2023, second team All-Conference offense and defense in 2024 and first team offense in 2025. All-District first team offense in 2024 and 2025. Honorable mention All-State in 2024.
Robert Gravatt: All-Pioneer Conference first team defense and second team offense in 2024; All-District first team defense in 2024 and honorable mention All-State in 2024.
The Concordia football team finished 7-3 overall and Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) in 2025. The Bulldogs received 48 points, equivalent to 29th, in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics postseason poll.
Rylie Beethe: As of Monday morning, March 23, the Concordia softball team was 12-8 overall and 1-1 GPAC.
While high school softball is played in the fall, college softball is a spring sport.
