Schaardt Auction Services has been in business since 2017 and was in need of additional storage space. Therefore, auctioneer Clay Schaardt purchased 20 acres of land from Glenn Kettelhake of Steinauer to build a new 60 foot by 140 foot building at 71644 Nebraska Highway 50. He plans on holding a variety of auctions as well as providing necessary storage space.
“There were a lot of people such as Glenn Kettelhake involved in getting the construction of this auction facility started and I want to thank everyone for their support,” said Schaardt. This new auction barn is one of only two auction facilities of this kind in the state of Nebraska. The other facility is located in the Kearney area.
This particular auction barn features two overhead doors for customers to come in and pick up the auction items they purchased. There are two check-out windows to handle payments from the live action as well as the online bidding services. A loading dock is also available for bringing in new inventory of overstock products from various businesses. The facility also features state of the art security equipment.
