Bulldog Brews Returns to Central Ave.

Bulldog Brews Returns to Central Ave.

Once part of The Hive, a conglomeration of four separate businesses, Erin Taylor and her husband Ziv have taken Bulldog Brews in an independent direction and reopened in the building that used to be Auburn Design Shop. Open Tuesdays through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bulldog Brews offers coffees, teas, and an assortment of breakfast and snack items.
The official reopening of the location came February 3, and the Taylors have kept the majority of their menu items from their original menu, catering to what their customers enjoy. Along with themselves, the coffee shop is run by a pair of students from Johnson-Brock High School, Addi Sherman and Madi McMann, as part of a work-release program. “We’re really happy to be able to offer that opportunity and experience to student’s,” Erin explained, “And if any other high school students are interested in joining for their own work-release, August and September are the best times to get in touch.”
They are still utilizing their trailer, too, offering catering for events or businesses. Another new development is all-day delivery, available through the Bulldog Brews website. Egg bites will be available March 1st, but one of the biggest ambitions and goals the pair have for the business, is expansion. “Right now we are looking for a good location, but the hope is to open drive-through kiosks all across Nebraska,” Ziv said. “We’d keep the same name, Bulldog Brews, and serve much of the same menu, but throughout the state.”
There was no estimation of when that first extension drive-through might be opened, but keep your eyes peeled in Omaha for the first of many to pop up. For now, Bulldog Brews in Auburn is happy to fill your cups with good drinks at 826 Central Ave.
