Gavin Bauer, a senior at Auburn High School, has signed to play baseball for the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves this fall. After a successful high school career and several seasons of Legion baseball in Auburn, Bauer is looking forward to the next chapter.
“I transferred to Auburn from Falls City Public Schools in October of 2025, but I’ve played Legion baseball with the team throughout high school,” Bauer said. “We won the area tournament last summer and went to state, and it was a great experience.”
Bauer said he chose Nebraska Wesleyan for both its athletic and academic opportunities.
