Wednesday, Feb. 25,management staff from Good Samaritan Society (GSS)-Auburn attended Long-Term Advocacy Day in Lincoln.
A national update was presented by LaShuan Bethea, executive director of the National Center for Assisted Living.
“The content of the conference was to provide updated information regarding both states and federal legislative issues affecting Nebraska’s nsursing facilities and assisted living communities. Participants received recommendations for communicating about legislative issues and bills with elected officials and their staff,” noted Maria Hudson of GSS-Auburn.
