The Auburn Memorial Library will celebrate a pair of milestones this March with 100 years since its first permanent building was dedicated in 1926 and 30 years since the opening of its current home in 1996.

The milestone will be marked March 2-7 with book drawings, guessing games, giveaways and a special performance by Daniel Christian on March 5 at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be available Tuesday, March 3, while supplies last.

From Schoolhouse to Permanent Home Library Director Heather Koeneke has been researching the history of Auburn’s library and plans to create a display for the celebration week.
