A perfect ACT score is considered a once-in-a-generation achievement and this year, Auburn High School has two.
Grace Zhang and Jack Hayes each earned a perfect 36 on the ACT, placing them among approximately .02% of students nationwide who reach that mark. Their achievement was recognized during a special program that also included the presentation of University of Nebraska President’s Scholarships. This includes the full cost of attendance for up to four years with three inclusive summer programs, plus an annual stipend.
School officials said the accomplishment represents more than test performance.
