NSAA Releases 2026-2027 Football Schedules

The four high school football teams in Johnson and Nemaha counties, as well as those across Nebraska, know who their opponents will be during the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
The Nebraska School Activities Association staff released the schedules Wednesday morning, Feb. 11. The 2026 schedules will be listed in chronological order. The following year, home opponents will be away while away opponents will be home. Dates will be set later.
 

Auburn: Mount Michael Benedictine, at Louisville, at Fort Calhoun, Ashland-Greenwood, at Lincoln Christian, Milford, at Boys Town, at Syracuse and Nebraska City. Louisville, Fort Calhoun, Milford and Boys Town are changes from 2024 and 2025. They replace Fairbury, Falls City, Lincoln Lutheran and Wilber-Clatonia. The first two are switching to eight-man football.
Schools playing eight-man football are switching to nine-game schedules in 2026, they previously had eight regular season games.

Johnson County Central (JCC): at Elmwood-Murdock, Freeman, at Falls City Sacred Heart, Conestoga, Fairbury, at Tri County, at Thayer Central, Johnson-Brock and Falls City. New to the schedule are Elmw00d-Murdock, Conestoga, Fairbury, Thayer Central and Falls City. They replace Humboldt/Table Rock-Steinauer (HTRS), Lourdes Central Catholic, Omaha Christian Academy and Southern. HTRS is transitioning to six-man football.
 

Johnson-Brock: Lourdes Central Catholic, at Sandy Creek, Exeter-Milligan/Friend, at Elmwood-Murdock, at Tri County, Thayer Central, Falls City, at JCC and Fairbury. Changes from the previous two falls are Tri County, Thayer Central, Falls City and Fairbury. They will supplant Freeman, Omaha Christian Academy and Southern.
 

Sterling: Dorchester, at Parkview Christian, open, Riverside, at Meridian, HTRS, Diller-Odell, at Pawnee City and at Lewiston. HTRS, Meridian and Riverside are on the schedule in place of Potter-Dix, Red Cloud and Silver Lake.
