A Brownville Nebraska Ag producer, Daryl Obermeyer, was one of six farmers nominated by the American Soybean Association to participate in Syngenta’s Leadership at its Best program. He joined 45 other producers and agricultural professionals from across the country for a week of intensive leadership and advocacy development. Participants stepped beyond their day to day rolls to build a National network of peers, strengthen their communication and media skills and deepen their capacity to represent agriculture with clarity and confidence. Their engagement in this long-standing program, reflects the strength, diversity, and commitment of the people who power American Agriculture.
Throughout the week, participants brought agriculture‘s voice directly to Capitol Hill, joining national efforts to champion policies that support rural communities and expand opportunities for growers. Their shared purpose was unmistakable: whether they work in a field, a lab or an office, agriculture leaders care deeply about feeding and fueling the World while protecting soil and water for future generations. Their involvement in Leadership at its Best underscores the stewardship, heart, and resilience that define our industry and the leaders who move it forward.
