Calvert Elementary Students Entertain Family and Friends on Monday January 26

KINDERGARTENERS OPEN the Calvert Elementary School winter concert singing In The Spirit, Hip Hop Reindeer and Jingle Bell Jam. It was the first concert directed by Michael Parde in his initial year as Calvert vocal music instructor. The children’s teachers are Krissy Larson, Cari Thomas and Hannah VanGundy.

A BUGZ Christmas: The Musical was presented by the first and second graders. The show’s selections were A Bugz Christmas, We’re Hungry, A Tree Without Lights, Let Your Best Light Shine, The 12 Bugz of Christmas and a reprise of A Bugz Christmas. Calvert first grade teachers are Courtney Brethower, Ashley Flies, Marcy Stickell and Emily Weeks. Second grade teachers are Jerica German, Christy Riggins and Andrea Schroder.

WRAPPING UP the evening’s performances was Snow Biz: The Musical by third through fifth graders. Some students had solos. The songs were: Snow Biz, It Comes Out Snow, Snow Angel, Catch My Drift, What Are We Doing Here, Postal Worker March and Don’t Let the Snow Stop! Third grade teachers are April Joy, Amber Meyer and Danielle Pfister. Fourth grade teachers are Nicole Dunn, Victoria Jacox and Allison Sheets. Fifth grade teachers are Mike Henrichs, Erin Teten and Danielle Wredt.
