On January 13, the Auburn girls basketball team was sitting at a 2-9 record having just lost to Lourdes Central Catholic by 32 points. Fast forward to the final day of January, and the Bulldog girls have improved their record to 7-10, including a current streak of four straight wins.
Auburn finished last week with a 47-37 road win over Wilber- Clatonia and kept the momentum going with a 38-point blowout over Falls City at home. Ella Swanson and Bree Wehenkel combined for nine three pointers to light the Tigers up for a 61-23 win on Tuesday.
The girls then went back on the road, where they outscored the Raiders 30-12 through the second and third quarters, earning their third straight win by a score of 49-33.
