30 Years of Dedicated Service at Countryside Bank
RANDY BAUCKE, lower right, was honored upon his retirement with an open house on December 30, 2025 at Countryside Bank, Syracuse. His family were present to celebrate with him. They are, clockwise from the front and center: granddaughters Brooklyn Jamison and Addyson Jamison, wife Diane Baucke, sister Nancy Baucke, son-in-law Andy Jamison, grandson Evan Jamison, and daughter Rebecca Jamison.

Randy Baucke retired with the Countryside Bank in Syracuse on December 31, 2025 following 30 years of service. He started working with the Countryside Bank branch office in Tecumseh on March 1, 1995. Baucke served as a Loan Production office manager and Mortgage loan officer.

His first new home construction loan was $12,000.00 for a three bedroom home. Today it would cost $300,000 to $400,000 to build the same home. The equipment he used in his office changed from posting machines, typewriters, and calculators to all computers.

One of Baucke’s most rewarding experiences was making loans to first-time homebuyers using Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA) and the USDA Rural Development loan programs. Another rewarding experience for Baucke was receiving the Nebraska Bankers Association’s 50 Year Banker Award, which was presented to him in recognition of 50 years of service to a commercial bank.
