Nemaha County resident Gary L. Rogge has filed as a Republican candidate for governor of Nebraska. In his announcement, Rogge said he is running to “right the ship of the Republican Party in the state of Nebraska.”
His statement continues, “A Republican Party platform needs to address the needs of the people of Nebraska. Times have changed from when my great-grandfather came to America and was involved in early Nebraska politics. Republican voters need a candidate who will attract voters and make their votes count. Gary Rogge is that candidate.”
Rogge also wrote, “The situation in Washington, D.C., is not what ‘Nebraska Nice’ is all about. Nebraska Republicans expect respect for their earned successes.”
